Personality:
Kagura is a very curious girl with some strange habits. She is known for being an excellent observer and has a talent for sketching whatever she sees accurately. Though quiet most of the time, she definitely has a voice and opinion on subjects that she strongly believes in such as art and literature. She, being a quick reader, loves to read all sorts of stories. Her favorite types of books are the ones that include thrilling tales of adventure and mystery.
Though Kagura is 17, she has the imagination of a young child. She sees the world differently than most people, creating stories and ideas in her head on a constant basis. Most people find her odd because she voices her imaginative thoughts to others such as, “Have you ever pretended the sky was made of a large canvas that angels paint on?” or “What if the whole world was upside down?” . Kagura’s drawings show off her active imagination and are filled with curious images. Her strange take on the world earned her the nickname “Alice” in middle school.
Despite being quite strange, she is a caring girl who just likes to look at life from a positive and curious point of view. She is very naive and innocent and usually falls for anything anyone tells her, taking even a tease quite seriously. Many people assume that she is brave when she is actually quite the scaredy-cat, having irrational fears such as a fear of birds, storms, and closed spaces. Her fear of storms tops her list of fears, since they cause her to freeze up and cry. She is also known for being very camera-shy. She also is very bad at talking to boys, especially boys she is interested in. She ends up blushing a lot and gets flustered, causing her to either talk really fast or go completely silent. But it is noted that she can actually be quite romantic when she feels brave enough.

Biography:
Kagura was born and raised by her birth father and older brother. Her mother passed away giving birth to her because she was constantly bed-ridden and sick. Unfortunately, Kagura was also born with a weak heart and she developed a terminal illness that causes her to faint at random times. Though, she didn’t need to be constantly bed ridden, her father wanted to keep her inside as much as possible so her condition wouldn’t worsen. Her brother would constantly bring home books from the book store for Kagura to read, sparking her interest in the outside world that was beyond her window.
Kagura as homeschooled for a long time before her brother finally convinced their father to let her attend a public middle school.
It was a hard adjustment for her to make and she would rarely talk to anyone except her art teacher, who taught her how to draw and was also the one that gave her a drawing pad. Most kids called her weird and shy for a long time. Other kids thought that she was an attention hog because they thought that her fainting was just an act to get attention. But, she did manage to gain a few friends after a year or two and was able to come out of her shell to become who she is today. She has been attending Furuya High School since her freshman year and is still trying to fit in.

- She likes to feed a stray cat that lives by her house nicknamed “Nemo”
- She is an average student but excels in her writing classes
- Kagura hopes that one day she won’t be limited by her disease as an adult so she can become an artist and travel the world.
- Because of her illness, doctors say that she won’t live a long time and will probably die in her thirties.
- She is usually found on the roof of the school, drawing and humming.
